Kinda Non-Existing

Well... it's been a month.

whoooooo

what?

I haven't really done anything... made 2 songs that I've listened to far too many times... started 4 more I'll never finish... Only touched a sketchbook today. Haven't done more than 6 hours for the hat people... my car hasn't stopped breaking down so I haven't driven it more than once. I guess I've done some yardsailing, but counting those as the only days I've enjoyed, I feel like I've been home for more like 4 days.

Can't sell any music... no print shops within walking distance... nothing within walking distance... no friends I feel like seeing more than once... those I do I can't get ahold of... dealing with things in Savannah, hoping my stuff's out of storage...

Not half the man I used to be.

Did get a copy of a Hard Day's Night on vinyl for a dollar, though. 90c, actually.

...oh, and I'm not delighted. DA won't let me change the icon.

Headed Home!

Alright everybody, about to pack up the school PC and head on home. You'll see my finals and some of the other work I haven't uploaded in the coming few days.

I'm going to leave you with the last song I made while in chool. Expect the compilation "Jake Lion's Band - Best of Season 1" to be out soon, along with "Post-Stachisms)... and maybe the actual ability to buy them!

Here's the song - Robots Want to Eat You [link]

Sang this at the expense of my newly-healed throat. But it was TOTALLY worth it.

A Leaf Drifting in the Breeze [link] Same one I put up earlier but with EXTENSIVE vocals. ouch ouch ouch ouch

Oh and that other song's called Pinky Toe now I think. Cheers.

2 weeks to go!

Si, s'gonna be nuts. Got a bus-side circus advert to do, a rolling stone cover (thinking of doing zappa, ian and someone else - how did they survive the 80's? maybe not XP), and a band poster (which will totally be for jake lion's band, has to be a combo of techniques so I'm using scratchboard meets watercolor).

Finished the layout of my last album here, Post-Beard (or Post-Beardom, or Post-Beardom Depression). Basically, I have to finish this little pirate-type RPG song for it that I started ages ago, create another piece of techno with some sort of vocalization, do the vocalization for my latest song, Banana Foot (or banana feet, or banana face, or pinky toe, or whatever), and another weird song will do it. It's split into three sections, much like ILAL OOTL was.

It's a bit to do, but I feel confident I'll get something done. Tomorrow... I relax!
