Almost magnetic,

I pull shards of steel,

Almost unconsciously, into my soul,

Some sort of self sacrifice,

I perform to suffice

for lacking the skill to will the skies clear

never knowing if what I'm pulling in

comes from flesh or from dirt

but if I can't heal I feel I must hurt

thinking too much of my self again,
