Turns out the base-color clay is actually one that bakes semi-translucent (this is unbaked so far) which is cool - but, it stays malleable for about 5 seconds, and then begins fracturing, constantly. Not good for tiny pony bodies. That's why there's lumpy misshapen patchwork everywhere. But if it bakes all glass-y, that'll be cool!
